**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:
Perform daily inspections and measurements of finished bottle products as per customer requirements.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Inspect all production lines for all necessary quality checks

2. Place suspect product on hold and inspect as required (AQL standard)

3. Sample and perform quality checks during production and qualification runs

4. Use instruments to perform quality tests to assist production in decision making. Examples include calipers, gauges, drop impact tester, wall thickness equipment, vacuum test equipment

5. Read and understand bottle drawings and specification sheets

6. Data entry into excel or data system (SPC) and basic analysis of data

8. Verifications of lab instruments

9. Follow and enforce Silgan safety, quality and GMP policies

**EDUCATION**:
Minimum High School Diploma

**EXPERIENCE**:
0-2 years’ experience as a QC technician in a manufacturing environment

Preferred: high volume output environment, shop floor experience, bottle experience

**SKILLS**:
Basic knowledge of Excel

Good mathematical skills

Basic knowledge of French and English

**WORK CONDITIONS**:
Plant and laboratory
