We are looking for a Facility Attendant who will grow alongside Pacific Pickleball We are a dynamic and growing pickleball center dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of pickleball enthusiasts. We are seeking a passionate facility attendant with exceptional customer service skills to ensure smooth operation of our facility

The Facility Attendant is responsible for ensuring our facility operates in a smooth, friendly, clean and safe environment. The position desires someone with pickleball experience and is passionate about the sport.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet and acknowledge those entering the facility.
- Provide customer support in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Manage court bookings via phone, in person, or online.
- Assist customers with membership inquiries, sign-ups, refunds, and renewals
- Guide customers through equipment purchases, pro shop items, and merchandise inquiries
- Maintain inventory levels, organize displays, and process sales efficiently
- Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, maintaining records, updating customer databases, and organizing payroll
- Ensure the lobby, bathrooms, changerooms, and courts are clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Adhere to safety protocols and assist in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for everyone
- Assist in organizing and coordinating Pickleball tournaments, leagues, and special events. Help with event registration, player check-ins, and event-related tasks
- Ensure all court inspections, cleaning, and maintenance tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard
- Escalate safety and customer related issues to management if they cannot be resolved at the facility attendant level
- Create engaging marketing materials to promote facility events and services, managing and posting content on social media outlets to increase visibility and engagement.

**Desired Experiences and Skills**
- Previous experience in facility management (preferably in sports/ recreation)
- Previous experience in customer service roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of pickleball sport and rules
- Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED certification is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Additional pay:
