The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul - Halifax Particular Council (HPC) has been supporting people in need in the central part of Nova Scotia since 1868. The HPC assisted more than 11,000 persons last year with financial assistance exceeding $1.34 million.

HPC requires a part-time bookkeeper experienced in the following: Quick Book entries and transactions, bank reconciliations, month end close, payroll for 2 employees with CRA and HST returns, support of the treasurer reports and other potential ad-hoc related functions.

A highly organized and experienced individual with not-for-profit sector experience is an asset.

They must understand budget preparation and demonstrate advanced digital literacy.

This is a freelance position with an estimated 25 flexible hours per month, working remotely in Halifax, NS. Salary up to $800 per month based on experience.
