**Summary**

We are seeking a Controller to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate accounting practices. Located in West Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. We are looking for somebody that can lead a small team working in the sporting teams industry, as well as act an Accounting Assistant as required within the telecom sector.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as the Controller/Accounting lead for a number of sports teams.
- Assist with accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and reports.
- Support payroll processing and related tasks as needed.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Controller, Accounting Assistant or similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Payroll systems, or Spire is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and account reconciliation is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
