Seldom Silent Enterprises Ltd is seeking a Division Manager in Victoria, BC This position is part-time/on-call basis with the opportunity for more hours as you grow with our company. This job is an excellent way to build experience in the medical/forensic field, funeral industry, coroners office, management, and emergency services. Seldom Silent requires that any interested parties understand the need to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. At times you may interact directly with family or friends of the decedent, during which you must maintain an empathetic yet professional demeanour. If you are reactive to bodily fluids or graphic content, this may not be the right employment opportunity for you.
Must be able to pass a criminal record check, and have a class 5 license.
This is best suited for someone who has an open schedule and is willing to work fluctuating hours, with 24/7 availability - depending on the staffing structure that is developed.
Requirements for the Job:
- Ability to respond to calls with urgency, and be available for short notice work. Answering when on-call is of the utmost importance
- Must have a class 5 drivers license, and have transport to meeting spots if required.
- Must be able to lift 150+ lbs
- Ability to manage employee scheduling and managerial duties, along with some basic administrative computer work.
- Previous experience within the Funeral Industry would be an asset, however not required
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 25-40/Week (Approximate, this amount can vary)
**Salary**: $28.00 per hour to start
Benefits: Available after 90 day probation
Safety considerations:
Masks may be required to be worn on job-sites. Vehicles and equipment regularly decontaminated, hand sanitizer provided. Gloves and PPE as appropriate.
