Full Time Receptionist

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Greet customers upon their arrival at dealership.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct call to appropriate individual.
- Handle general inquiries from callers.
- Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient and professional manner and attempt to minimize the amount of time they are placed on hold.
- Refer messages to correct party in a timely manner.
- Place long distance calls.
- Inform telephone company maintenance department of any switchboard malfunctions.
- Revise and distribute company telephone lists when necessary.
- Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proofreading, and assist other administrative departments as necessary.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- High School Diploma.
- 1-2 years’ related receptionist experience, preferred.
**SKILL & EFFORT**:
- Personable, high customer-relation skills, and pleasant telephone manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid typing and filing abilities.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Manual dexterity for typing / keyboarding.
- Computer literate.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
- Occasional dealings with upset or impatient people.
- Occasionally manage stressful situations involving customers.
- Occasional eyestrain related to computer use.
