Outdoor Spring/summer Children's Soccer Coach

**We are looking for** **reliable, energetic**, **and** **engaging Soccer Coaches to work part-time 4-15 hours per week. If you are passionate about **working with children and being active, this is the ideal job for you

Little Kickers provides **children 18 months to 7 years of age** a positive introduction to sport via soccer. Our soccer skills and games are taught in a fun and non-competitive environment. Coaches employ their imagination and creativity to deliver the lessons in an engaging and playful atmosphere. Teachers or those enrolled in the ECE program, actors, soccer players and coaches would be the perfect fit for Little Kickers. All training is provided and paid.

**Compensation**: Starting wage is $16/hour (assistant coach/training), with opportunities for fast advancement and pay raise (lead coach) for those that qualify.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with young children
- This position is PART TIME - we offer 4 to 15 hours per week.
- **Saturday morning shifts mandatory**, including some long weekends if scheduled.
- **Additional shifts** are available - Sunday mornings, and weeknights between 5 and 8 pm. Ability to commit to additional shifts is an advantage.
- **100% reliable** and able to commit to working on a **weekly basis** with limited vacation requests
- **Energetic, enthusiastic**, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
- Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children, deliver feedback to parents, and communicate with the management in a timely manner.
- High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 2-5 hours per shift. Ability to lift and carry equipment bag 30-50 lbs required.
- Soccer playing and coaching experience is an asset.

**We hold classes at multiple fields in each of the following cities and towns**:

- **Milton**:

- **West Mississauga**:

- **Oakville**:

- **Georgetown.**

- Remote interview process.
- Training starts in April (online and/or in-person training options), outdoor season starts in early May.
- Please specify if you live locally during the year and are able to start in-person training in April, because we have opportunities to start immediately (indoors), and continue into the fall.
