Monday & Friday 9:00AM to 1:00PM** **On-Site: (5 Hours approx.) Tuesday & Wednesday 4:00PM to 6PM** **& Thursdays 7:30AM to 8:30AM RECE hours / coverage as required.** **Office and On_Site location may vary week to week depending on program requirements.** **Location**: Georgetown & Acton/ Office and Afterschool Sites **Salary**:$ 28-30 /hour **Closing Date**: November 29, 2025 **Position Overview** The Program Leader (Supervisor), Links2Care School-Age Programs is responsible for the coordination and delivery of Links2Care’s School Age program in compliance with Ministry of Education Standards and the Child Care and Early Years Act. This position is based out of the Links2Care EarlyON Child and Family Centre office in Georgetown with on-site supervision of program staff at the Georgetown school locations. Reporting to the Manager, Community Services the Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of school-age programs as delivered by Registered Early Childhood Educators and Educators Assistant staff with the support of students and volunteers. The Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of leadership including employee supervision, performance management, coaching, evaluation and training and development. The Supervisor works collaboratively with others as part of the Links2Care Children’s programs team and Agency leadership team. As an employee of Links2Care, the Supervisor will actively demonstrate Links2Care values and will promote and support the Mission and Vision of the Agency. **Role and Responsibilities** - Implements a children’s program philosophy of early learning and care that are aligned with Links2Care’s strategic plan, ensuring a child/family centered learning environment. - Coordinates service delivery ensuring program activities operate efficiently within the policies, procedures, standards and guidelines of Links2Care, Quality First, and provincial, regional and municipal regulations and legislation. Ensures compliance with provincial, regional and municipal regulations and guidelines, Ministry of Education requirements and the Child Care and Early Years Act. - Ensures Public Health standards are maintained in the kitchen environment and that safe food handling practices are followed by staff for the preparation, storage and handling of food for program participants. - Provides leadership in the development, execution, monitoring and evaluation of culturally competent, inclusive and developmentally appropriate programming. - Coordinates program registration and enrollment. - Leads marketing initiatives that are appropriate for the program, including attending events, working in collaboration with internal staff for this purpose. - Makes appropriate referrals to other Links2Care programs and/or community support services as needed. - Coordinates School Age programming for program participants, continually monitoring and adjusting service to address clients’ changing goals. - Works within the Halton Early Years and Child Care Quality System Framework, delivering key annual outcomes with the school age staff reports - Responds to Serious occurrences and accidents as per Ministry and JHS requirements. - Collects and maintains client and employee information based on program needs and employer requirements in accordance with the Links2Care confidentiality/privacy policy, and PHIPA and PIPEDA legislation. - Establishes and maintains linkages with community partners. - Works collaboratively with all departments of the Agency. - Develops and implements program evaluations and monitors ongoing program performance measures for continuous improvement. - Coordinates effective staff meetings and regular staff recognition initiatives including but not limited to National ECE Day. - Prepares monthly billing information for clients and Accounts Receivable.
