Job Description

Under the supervision of the Helpdesk Manager, within the IT Operations team, the Technical Support Agent will provide support to Guillevin employees and its subsidiaries. He/she will serve the employees of the Montreal head office on site, and support other employees across Canada remotely. In addition to routine requests, he may be required to handle small projects.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Provide IT support - level 1 & 2- Manage the receipt, initial documentation and assignment of requests.-
- Coordinate the resolution of requests by acting as a bridge between the user, internal teams and external partners.- Track requests diligently, communicate status to the user on a regular basis, and document and close resolved requests.- Install and configure user work tools - workstations and accessories, software and system access - in a timely manner and to the user's satisfaction.-
- Participate in alternating phone call schedules.

Participate in continuous improvement- Adhere to defined processes. Participate in the definition and improvement of request management processes.- Share knowledge with other team members.- Share knowledge and sources of information on the use of the systems with users.- Have the customer at the center of his priorities.- Strive for excellence in dealing with clients, colleagues and partners.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Dynamic, has a sense of urgency and priorities.- Ability to communicate clearly in French and English, orally and in writing.- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a user support role in a service center.- Recognized college or university degree in information technology or related field.- Good experience in:
- Using and debugging Windows 10, Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Teams and OneDrive.- Installation of computers and printers-
- Request management tools in a helpdesk environment.- Ability to take ongoing training courses to stay current with company systems and the latest technologies.

Asset:
- Experience with systems in the distribution field.-
- Knowledge of Workday and Epicor P21.- Lenovo computers and Canon printers.- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune administration.- Knowledge of ManageEngine Service Desk Plus and LogmeIn Rescue.

Monday to Friday schedule, flexible on-site and remote work

1 year contract, with possibility of extension or permanent position
