**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring that dietary needs are met.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Support individuals with dementia care and other cognitive impairments through engaging activities and routines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client status to the appropriate personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments or nursing homes is beneficial.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
- Must be able to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment for clients.
- Experience working with persons with disabilities is an advantage.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the job location.
