Estimator - Discovery Collision

**Discovery Collision is expanding and we are in need of an experienced Estimator on beautiful Vancouver Island. We are located in the Salmon capital of the world, and you can still enjoy small town charm here in Campbell River**
**We are looking for someone who understands the importance of great customer service and close knit communities.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item
- Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager or foreman
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations
- Working with ICBC & other insurance companies
- Other tasks as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Fluent English communication
- Prior estimating experience in a repair facility or appraisal company
- Knowledge of Mitchell Estimating Programs and ICBC processes
- Strong skills in customer service, estimating, reporting, attention to detail, and time management
- Proficiency in computer and writing skills
