**Job Summary**:
This position involves the maintenance and daily operation of building, grounds and equipment. Also works as a warehouse staff member when needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Effectively and efficiently meet maintenance and production goals.
- Work safely, encourage others to do so, and follow safety policies.
- Create, investigate, and complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using BIS information tracking system.
- Recommend equipment and process improvements.
- Helps to identify spare parts needed and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Keeps tools organized and in their proper storage area.
- Troubleshoot and carry out equipment repairs in safe and timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Be available to cover for plant/equipment problems on other shift(s).
- Assist in unloading bulk tank trucks into proper raw material storage tanks.
- Assist with warehouse tasks, including but not limited to putting material away, unloading trucks and pulling and shipping orders.
- Maintain ISO 9001 standards in the plant.
- All quality requirements as outlined in Tier I & Tier II.
- Other duties as required.
**Knowledge/Skills Required**:
- Knowledge of production processes and warehouse procedures.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and a team player.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Proficient at using computer-based system.
- Ability to cut and thread pipe from ½” to 2”
- Basic knowledge of electrical work.
- Read, write and speak English.
- Proficiency in math.
- Reliable, accurate and energetic.
