**Position Summary**: The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for sorting, storing, receiving, and distributing tools and supplies to the operators.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sort and issue tools to the operator
- Build job kits as per schedule
- Maintain and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the tool crib
- Maintain inventory records using a computerized system and produce reports as requested
- Follow up with tool suppliers
- May be required to order inventory to replenish stock
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
- Assist with various data entry tasks as required
- Organize and drive routine physical inventories
- Cycle count inventories on regular basis

**Additional Responsibilities**: Other duties/projects as assigned.

**Qualification / profile / Competencies**:
**Education**:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Tool Crib Attendant is considered an asset
- Hands on knowledge of various tools used in machining is preferred

**Specifications**:

- Good working knowledge of SAP, MS office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel and computer skills
- Must have a great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities with the ability to work under pressure
- Specific knowledge of SAP, AUTOCRIB preferred
- Knowledge to set up bar code inventory system preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
- Flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities

**Working Conditions & Environment**: Fast paced, Stress related to handling multiple priorities

**Physical demands of position**:

- Sitting for long periods of time at a desk
- Walking and standing for less than 10% of the time

**Extent of Public Contact**: Suppliers

**Schedule**: 7am - 3pm, Mon-Fri

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
