Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.In this position, the Automotive Service Lot Attendant will be responsible for transporting customers as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles owned by customers and those that will be placed into inventory. Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed. What drives your day-to-day?Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as neededBuilding and grounds maintenance as neededService and Sales Department dutiesDaily Organization and parking of vehicles for sale and service departmentRemove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customerInspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediatelyAssist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucksAssist with shop clean-up and deliveries when neededCleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (;snow removal) Identify any lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager Placing signage in and on vehicles for advertising purposesMonitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process Lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc)What are the must-haves…High school diploma or GEDInterest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehiclesValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to drive automatic and manual transmission vehiclesExperience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an assetMust be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectivelyExcellent customer service skillsThe Perks.Competitive Compensation and Benefits PackageEmployee Vehicle Purchase & Service PlansEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsCompany-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your careerAnd those are just the basics.
