**Title**:Parts Counter Person

**Summary**

**Job Duties**
- Selling parts to customers and building customer relationships by correctly identifying parts needed, taking orders, creating invoices, billing out freight, and collecting payment.
- Conduct and/or support the daily functions of our parts operation, including sourcing, ordering, following
- up on backorders, inventory counts, etc.
- Find appropriate part numbers for customers using provided catalogues.
- Provide parts for service technicians.
- Provide price quotes.
- Check inventory for product availability.
- Provide delivery dates to customers and verify prices.
- Prepares and maintains parts orders and purchase orders with receipts.
- Assist with shipping as required.
- Report discrepancies to supervisor.
- Create purchase requisitions.
- Complete Case Construction training as required by dealership.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Follow safety procedures and best practices to minimize workplace hazards.

**Job Requirements**
- Knowledge of construction equipment parts and warehouse procedures.
- Computer literacy, familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of DIS Keystone/Quantum an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience looking up Parts is required.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to effectively engage customers and staff.
- Ability to answer the phone in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Willingness to assist other staff as appropriate and as workloads dictate.
- Ability to work well with other Department, co-workers.
- Work environment requires some lifting (_up to 50 lbs_), pushing, pulling, bending, walking, and standing.
