**Truck Driver/Warehouse Personnel Job Description**

We are seeking a Truck Driver/Warehouse Personnel role that combines the responsibilities of delivering products efficiently and accurately while ensuring warehouse operations are maintained to the highest standards. The position requires working collaboratively within a team, handling physical demands, and adhering to safety and food regulatory guidelines.

**Responsibilities**

**Driving and Delivery**:

- Operate Care Bakery’s 5-ton city delivery truck/reefer with automatic transmission and hydraulic brakes.
- Deliver products to major distribution points within Calgary and perform other pickups or deliveries as required.
- Prepare pallets and load trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety of orders.

**Warehouse Operations**:

- Prepare and load pallets with attention to safety and accuracy.
- Manage the warehouse, including maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Handle receiving and shipping operations, completing paperwork such as packing slips, shipping logs, and receiving logs.
- Maintain and monitor finished goods inventory.
- Operate an electric forklift (license required).
- Participate in other activities as directed by the production supervisor.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Valid Alberta Driver’s License.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Strong English language skills for safety and effective communication.
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in deliveries, records, and inventory management.
- Ability to work well within a team to support overall performance.

**Physical and Environmental Demands**:

- Capable of lifting up to 20 kg repeatedly.
- Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, and dust.
- Adaptable to the physical demands of bakery and warehouse work.

**Safety and Accountability**

**Safety Activities**:

- Participate actively in production and safety meetings.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to HACCP and other regulatory standards for food safety and cleanliness.

**Accountabilities**:

- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to all destinations.
- Maintain up-to-date food safety and warehouse records.
- Support scheduled packaging and distribution operations.

This role is integral to the smooth operation of both delivery and warehouse functions, contributing to Care Bakery’s commitment to quality, safety, and excellent service.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 36 per week
