Overview
This Truck Driver position is responsible for delivering concrete grout to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a willingness to learn and have an adherence to safety protocols, and excellent communication skills.
We are located 10 minutes outside south Calgary in the Dewinton area.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up material and drive ready-mix truck to sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working
order.
- Load, transport, and unload concrete grout in accordance with safety and operational
guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisor and other construction personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the delivery schedule is met and manage time effectively to avoid delays.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking oil, fuel, and water levels.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
**Requirements**:
- Valid commercial driver’s license - Class 3 or 1 with a clean driving record.
- Please provide drivers abstract upon applying.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Starting wage $26 + time and a half (after 8 hours) overtime, Monday to Friday, average 10 hour shifts.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Additional pay:
