**General Purpose**

The Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics (Lang) is home to a dynamic portfolio of undergraduate and graduate programs delivered through four academic units and several professional and co-curricular centres. With increasing global competition for students, rapid technological transformation, and heightened pressure to develop responsive, revenue-generating academic offerings, Lang is uniquely positioned within the University of Guelph to meet this moment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Working with the Associate Dean, Academic for the Lang School, the Special Projects Advisor: Academic Integrity and Curriculum Development provides leadership and coordination in two interrelated domains: (1) curriculum development, and (2) academic integrity. The position supports the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of new academic offerings, and pedagogy-enhancing resources in collaboration with the Director, Accreditation, Curriculum Development, and Learning Innovation and the curriculum development team in the Dean’s Office. This includes collaborating with academic leaders and faculty to support the development of new courses, programs, micro-credentials, and interdisciplinary offerings, in alignment with Lang’s Strategic Plan. In addition, this position manages and adjudicates academic misconduct cases within the Lang School, serving as the Academic Integrity Officer. This includes being responsible for managing Lang’s academic misconduct processes, improving system tracking and resolution timelines, supporting policy development on AI-related misconduct, and educating faculty and students on responsible academic practice.

**Requirements**:

- An undergraduate degree in business, or similar. A Masters degree in leadership, business, education or related field.
- Experience with academic processes, curriculum and program development, and reports and systems development (e.g., implementing new reporting processes, systems software experience such as Courseleaf).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in academic student advising and/or counselling.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a university instructor is considered an asset.
- Experience with the AACSB accreditation processes.
- Evidence of proficiency in working with data systems and data analysis.
- Be detail-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage workloads and priorities to deliver projects on time.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.
- Strong computer skills including experience working with Microsoft Office software and curriculum databases.
- A proactive attitude and confidence in supporting change to strengthen Lang academic programs.
