A positive "team player" attitude is a must **Key Responsibilities**: **Journeyman Plumbers**: - Interpret blueprints and follow industry codes. - Plan for the efficient use of apprentices and foresee material requirements. - Remain calm and adaptable when on-site changes are required. - Work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Lead hand or foreman experience is an asset. - Anticipate and address potential interferences with other trades. - Troubleshoot and repair boilers and furnaces. - Agricultural and rural service experience is an asset. - HVAC experience is an asset. - Willingness to travel as needed. **Apprentice Plumbers**: - Read and interpret blueprints with guidance. - Comfortable working at heights. - Willingness to travel. - Owns basic hand tools. **Education & Certifications**: - Journeyman: Red Seal Plumbing & Gas Certification (required) - Apprentices: Current Trade Certificate (Asset) - WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, MEWP/Aerial Platform, and First Aid certifications are preferred. **Additional Benefits**: - Potential use of a company vehicle. - Travel and LOA allowances. - Overtime opportunities. - Competitive benefits package, including dental care, vision care, life insurance, and an employee assistance program. - Quarterly Tool/Boot/Workwear allowance. - Referral bonuses. - Paid statutory holidays. - Tuition reimbursement program for apprentices. - Wage negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
