**The Company**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to plumbing and gas systems, water supply lines etc.
- Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken pipes, drainage lines etc.
- Install, alter, repair and maintain plumbing and gas systems, hot water tank, heating, water and sewer systems equipment, devices and appliances.
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems and equipment for safety, functionality, and code compliance and to determine the cause and location of trouble
- Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure
- Assemble valves, water system, appliances
- Installing, repairing and maintaining gas meters, regulators, gas lines and gas appliances
- Testing for gas leaks
- Furnace and boiler repair and installs
- Zone valve replacements
- Sink, shower and toilet repair/replacement, drain cleaning
- Testing and replacing defective equipment or components
- Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standard
- Designs projects, reads and interprets drawings and specifications and prepares cost estimates.
- Be part of on-call and attend to emergencies as necessary
- Other relevant duties assigned by Regional Manager/Facilities Manager

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Journeyman Plumber license
- Gas fitter B certificate
- Valid backflow assembly tester & cross connection certification preferred
- Two years’ experience at the journeyman level
- Experience in multi-family residential buildings an asset
- Good working knowledge of water supply, boiler, heating, and ventilation systems
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipment
- Proficiency using plumbing tools and equipment
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical dexterity
- Working knowledge of regulations affecting plumbing work
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Must successfully complete a criminal record check prior to start date

**Plumber**

**Position Summary**

The Journeyman Plumber works in collaboration with the Maintenance team and is responsible for all plumbing related duties in assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform plumbing duties for residential apartment buildings
- Adherence to building codes and specifications
- Installing, repairing and maintaining of domestic/residential plumbing systems
- Able to set and troubleshoot boilers
- Be part of on-call and attend to emergencies as necessary
- Other relevant duties assigned by Regional Manager/Facilities Manager

Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have a Journeyman Plumber ticket, Gas ticket
- Experience in plumbing, boiler systems/ HWT/furnace
- Experience in multi-family residential buildings an asset
- Must have own tools
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Must successfully complete a security clearance
