Our kitchen specializes in made-to-order hot and cold _Bagelsammies_, tapping into our broad assortment of European deli meats, our own house-roasted meats and made from scratch sides and condiments. As part of our small team, you will experience variety in your day to tasks, working on the line and also preparing a variety of in-house salads, soups, deserts and sandwich fixings. Breakfast and lunch is our “sweet-spot”, so enjoy your evenings while working days in our kitchen
**Day in the Life**
- above all, you will ensure that our sandwiches and sides are presented accurately, beautifully and quickly for every customer
- you will work as part of a team on our sandwich line, assembling hot and cold sandwiches, sides and salads
- you will prepare hot sandwich items on our flat top grill, and make fried sides using the deep fryer
- you will work on the preparation of our house-made items including sauces, meats, salads, desserts and baked items from established recipes and methods
- you will work fast and efficiently, but always with the utmost care and attention to cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- you will be re-stocking line items, slicing and portioning meat and vegetables and other line condiments
- you will assist in stock management through counts and inventories to support ordering and stock rotation
- you will support closes and overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitary operation by cleaning and replenishing the line, cleaning kitchen equipment, general restocking of food and packaging items, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping

**Experience and Other Details**
- previous experience on a quick service sandwich line or in a fast food kitchen environment is preferred
- previous deli and/or cooking experience, an asset but not required
- we are willing to train if you have less experience but have the right attitude and motivation
- must be available to work any day of the week for five 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7am and 5pm
**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
