The role:

- Prepare parts for coating
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using viscometers
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
- Ensure that all components are coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance
- Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures or pallets as required
- Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment
- Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support your hardworking fellow team members, including working days, afternoons, and midnights

Skills you bring:

- Good English written and oral communication skills
- Powder coating or powder coat prep experience
- Must be able to read and interpret standard procedures and production documents
- Must be able to be certified as a forklift operator and overhead crane operator
- Lean Manufacturing including 5S knowledge and experience will be considered an asset

We take our team’s safety seriously so you will be required to always wear proper PPE including steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection and respirators where needed. We offer on-the-job training, competitive wages, and a company culture that you won’t find anywhere else.

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- industrial painting: 2 years (preferred)
