Business Development Manager -NS & NFLD
In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies on behalf of Acxion Foodservices clients primarily in the Nova Scotia market with some time spent in Newfoundland.
**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Director of Sales for Eastern Canada, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Sales initiatives and activities supporting the growth of Acxion Clients in the Atlantic Market.
- Direct sales activities to food service operators in all segments.
- Develop and support sales activities with Distribution partners, including sales presentations, training and sales support.
- Organize and participate in various industry activities supporting our clients’ goals, such as food shows, customer presentations and other marketing activities.
- In collaboration with the Director, the role will conduct regular reviews with Acxion clients to review market development, sales activities and identify new initiatives and activities to support client objectives.
- Meeting call standards and objectives and maintaining all activities in Acxion CRM platform
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or other related post-secondary studies would be an asset or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience working in the food sales or related sales field.
- Strong understanding of food distribution and the food service industry.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with experience in a multi tasked working environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to influence decision makers in a competitive sales environment.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated and understanding social media and connecting to target markets
