Description

You are a Roaming Jobsite Support Staff worker responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of a material laydown yard. You will ensure that the yard remains a safe, clean, and organized space while also assisting with inventory management. This role requires daily travel to and from a remote job site.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Verifies incoming materials
- Administers inventory control and order selection
- Oversees opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard as required
- General site housekeeping
- Supports with the daily upkeep of the yard including organizing stock and yard maintenance
- Supports receiving activities
- Operates forklift and lifts heavy items (up to 40 lbs.)
- Drives between sites to transport smaller materials as required
- Builds and maintains relationships with field teams
- Monitors yard activities ensuring that proper processes are followed

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of Warehouse/Yard work experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Experience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organization
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to communicate effectively and independently
- Forklift Operator Certification is required
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and a Security Clearance Process
- 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in an outdoor/yard environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, paired with a positive attitude

Work Conditions:

- This role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and all weather environments
- Travel required up to 100% of the time
- The schedule is Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day
- Lodging for this role will be pre-booked in advance by the travel department
- Company vehicle and phone will be provided

Compensation

$ 38,000 - $52,250 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
