Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries - Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure all items are accounted for
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle - Assist the Yard Supervisor with other duties of operating a lumber yard

**Skills**:

- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record
- Certified Boom Operator
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

**Summary**

As a DZ Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, your role requires core skills in commercial driving and a valid driving license, along with premium skills in forklift operation and freight handling. You will utilize your time management and communication skills to ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, relevant skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will enhance your ability to perform routine vehicle checks and maintain delivery standards. Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
