Your role at Clorox:
Manage production scheduling, updates Bill of Materials and routing in SAP, act as backup for the shift supervisor, only day shift.
In this role, you will:
- Primary responsibility will be monitoring, analyzing, adjusting and communicating the master schedule to maximize the utilization of resources, such as labor, tools, materials and facility capacity.- Identify and resolve capacity constraints over the planning horizon.- Monitors business shortages, alerts, and new sku activity and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.- Analyzes and interprets crewing availability, BOM (bills of material), scopes, maintenance and project inputs to balance the business needs and customer- Initiates any needed replacement orders for lost, damaged or discrepant items.- Ensures all stakeholders are fully cognizant of production status and of schedule adherence - communicating through a daily review process, and hosting the weekly scheduling meeting.- Gathers business metrics as specified and periodically report these metrics to the management - example order fill, schedule adherence, product shortage, line usage, efficiency.- Act as a Production Supervisor on an as needed basis- Sets up new finished goods sku BOM, crewing, rates, routing.- Maintains finished sku / item / wip data attributes - including bill of material elements as needed, planning time fence, lot sizing and rounding values.- Initiates / participates in Lean Manufacturing driven continuous improvement activities related to production planning, customer service and inventory management.- Plant Improvement Database owner.- Change board Tracker Management Coordinator.
What we look for:
- Prior scheduling experience (minimum 2 years)- Must have strong knowledge with SAP.- Proficiency with MS Excel, reporting software and competency in Word and PowerPoint.- Manufacturing background.- In depth knowledge of Production, Purchasing and Inventory management systems.- Familiar with managing key performance metrics as a basis for process Improvement.- Ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous priorities.- Strong sense of urgency, ability to work with mínimal supervision.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- This is a fixed-term contract role and is not eligible for benefits
