**Job Title**:Claims Adjuster GAP

**Position Overview**:
The GAP Claims Adjuster understands how to work efficiently and effectively with customers to ensure that all assigned claims are concluded promptly, equitably and economically within the provisions of the contract and in accordance with the damages presented. Requires that the adjudication of claims be within company guidelines and all state regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Three to five years of experience in GAP or personal auto claims adjuster experience is preferred
- Establish contact and maintain effective professional relationships with insured parties, agents, underwriters, primary insurance and others involved in the claims process
- Review claims and claim status with customers, agent or underwriters as necessary to facilitate the prompt, accurate resolution of claims filed
- Obtain and prepare the necessary documentation associated with the prompt, accurate, and thorough verification of losses and administration of claims. Follow established policies, procedures, and processes in preparing information, and submit each claim for to audit for the final review in a timely manner and in accordance with GAP standards and expectations.

**Job Requirements**:
- Ability to understand claims adjudication process
- Demonstrated experience with Financial and/or Banking claims
- Sound knowledge base and experience with GAP or personal auto claims
- Skills in analyzing, interpreting, synthesizing, prioritizing, and reporting pertinent information; research and investigative abilities; negotiating, conflict resolution and persuasion abilities
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to professional and personal growth and development; commitment to continuous improvement
- Team-oriented work style; attention to detail and accuracy; effective time management and organization skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
