This position requires you to stand for extended periods as part of the requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote a Safe and Secure Culture
- Be professional at all times
- Monitor premises to detect any signs of intrusion or suspicious activities
- Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe environment
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any necessary actions taken that will assist you

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Alberta Security Services and Investigators ActLicense
- Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse individuals
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as perform physical tasks as needed
- Sound judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with security equipment and protocol

**Note**:The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
