**We are looking for a Full Time & Part time Security Officers**

**Primary Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- We are looking for reliable and self-motivated Security Guards who combine the ability to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances, while delivering high quality customer service. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively at various social levels.
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.
- Comfortable and able to go Hands on if need be.
- Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
- Ability to use computer systems
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
- Use of communication systems to report and inform.
- Prepares logs and reports as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-year Security experience is an asset but not required
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Ability to stand and walk to complete foot patrol

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
