Greater Toronto Area, Canada Siltech Corporation Full time

**Siltech Corporation, a Canadian owned Chemical company, is looking to hire immediately full time, permanent IT Support for our facilities in Mississauga and Toronto.**

This is a salaried position with a full Benefits and Pension package.

**Principal Duties**
- Installs, configures and maintains hardware infrastructure such as PCs, servers, peripherals, printers and security tools etc.
- Assists employees with connectivity, hardware and software issues.
- Repairs/Replaces equipment and properly disposes of old equipment.
- Performs data migrations to new PCs.
- Evaluates and installs patches including bug fixes and security vulnerabilities.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures.
- Secures data, devices, and networks against unauthorized external and internal access.
- Creates, modifies, secures and deletes user accounts in accordance with standards and best practices
- Installs, configures and maintains telephone and video equipment.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and monitoring industry themes and trends

**Skills/Knowledge**

1. Post-Secondary degree/diploma/certifications in related field.

2. Experience with the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

3. In depth knowledge of mobile and remote connectivity solutions

4. Knowledge of advanced functionality in Microsoft Office Suite

5. Experience with Information Security implementations

6. Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

7. Adherence to a strict code of ethical conduct and confidentiality.

**Experience**

2-5 years.

The incumbent will be expected to travel between locations in Ontario.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
