**What will you do?**
The **Employee and Labour Relations Lead** provides support and expertise to the organization in the areas of Employee and Labour Relations, HR policies and procedures, HR metrics and DEIB initiatives:
- Acting as the primary labour relations contact with unions representatives, divisional VPs, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Participates in collective bargaining on behalf of the company.
- Provides guidance and support to estimating and pursuits teams throughout the bid process for new projects.
- Maintains effective working relationships with the various union representatives.
- Oversees the workforce request process to ensure all adherence to the collective agreements or MOUs with respect to hiring priorities, ratios, and benefits agreements.
- Actively participates in all stages of grievance handling and supports the facilitation and resolution of management and trade conflicts/issues.
- Conducts exit interviews with departing employees and makes continuous improvement recommendations regarding retention based on theme of findings
- Participates in disciplinary action meetings.
- Provides support and guidance to employees, safety department, managers, claims management provider and benefits provider to ensure Early and Safe Return to Work.
- Proactively reviews and updates the Human Resources Manual to incorporate internal policy/program changes and legislative changes.
- Maintains and evaluates DEIB Corporate Strategy and implements continuous improvements.
- Reports on diversity metrics.
- Contributing member and organizer of Corporate DEIB Steering Committee.
**Who are we looking for?**
- University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent relevant educational qualifications.
- A Masters Degree in Employee Relations or Labour Relations is considered an asset.
- 10 years' experience in employee and labour relations, policy development, HR generalist, and/or HR programming.
- 3 years' leadership experience is considered an asset.
- Strong experience in employee relations and labour relations.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work on day-to-day HR duties as well as ad-hoc initiatives as requested and required.

- Schedule : Monday to Friday
