Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will: - Coordinate labour for theatre productions at The Elgin or Winter Garden Theatres (EWG) - Conduct client surveys and labour estimates, consulting with clients, International Association of Theatre and Stage Employees (IATSE) members, and Theatre Managers - Manage crew scheduling, payroll agreements, crew calls to union offices, production memos, and work oversight while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines - Maintain inventory and identify equipment replacement needs for EWG staff, Theatre clientele, or IATSE members - Assist the Managing Director with contract preparation, studio rentals, invoicing, receivables, and cheque requisitions - Resolve complaints and maintain client relations between the theatre and IATSE staff - Develop and improve documents/procedures for better information flow - Advise EWG and Ontario Heritage Trust (OHT) management on union concerns and strategies for issue management - Coordinate production activities and ensure Producers' needs are met - Communicate with OHT management, producers, production managers, IATSE representatives, payroll service providers, and suppliers **How do I qualify?**: **Business Knowledge**: You can demonstrate: - knowledge of the entertainment industry, production management, and live theatrical production principles, practices, and techniques - an understanding of standard theatre equipment and technical trends - the ability to understand local union agreements, practices, and trends related to the International Association of Theatre and Stage Employees union - planning and supervision skills to coordinate and set work priorities, and ensure adequate staffing numbers are maintained - the ability to create accurate labour expense estimates for clients based on information provided **Technical Knowledge and Skills**: You can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of: - expense processing, financial reporting, and reconciliation techniques - human resources, payroll procedures (working with external payroll service providers to establish and ensure adherence to agreements), occupational health, and safety, to advise staff on payroll issues, and to monitor stage crew/staff safety **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: You can demonstrate: - excellent oral and written communication skills to develop stakeholder relationships and communicate with a range of stakeholders - an ability to resolve issues and complaints - an understanding of customer service delivery principles, practices, and techniques **Computer Skills**: **Additional Information**: **Address**: - 1 English Permanent, 158 Victoria St, Toronto, Toronto Region **Compensation Group**: - Association of Management, Administrative and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario- Understanding the job ad - definitions - **Sc
