**About us**

**Peninsula IDA is a growing, independently owned pharmacy in Sidney, BC. We provide pharmacist assessments and prescribing, compounding, vaccinations, medication reviews, blister packaging, and delivery services as well as prescription filling and medication advice. Voted #1 pharmacy in Sidney 2022**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Answer phone calls and greet patients in a friendly manner
- Ensure work area is kept in working order and well stocked
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety and confidentiality protocols
- May train in compounding and compliance packaging if desired

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing industry regulations.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sidney, BC V8L 4M9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
