**Job Description**:

- ON CALL, no set hours guaranteed
- Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
- You must be available and ready to work when called upon 24/7
- Reliable and dedicated
- Physically fit - ability to lift 50lbs
- Work independently and as part of a team

Duties Include:

- Removing of snow comfortably with an F250 pick up and plow
- Salting
- Some Shovelling MAY be required
- Maintaining residential and commercial properties
- Cleaning of equipment
- Previous experience considered an asset
- Performing a daily circle check on equipment operated.
- Following equipment maintenance schedule as required.
- General labour duties such as preparing materials and cleanup of site area.
- Following all Newport work policies, practices and procedures.
- Must possess a clean drivers abstract.
- Other duties as required

**ON-CALL EXPECTED 24/7**
- **Wage: $23.00-$25.00/h (based on experience) + $100.00/week ON-CALL PAY**:

- **MUST ATTEND ALL CALLED UPON SHIFTS TO QUALIFY FOR ON CALL PAY**
- 2 years experience
- A valid driver’s licence with the ability to get to and from the job site.
- The ability to operate equipment safely.

SEASONAL

Contract length: ASAP - April

**Salary**: $23.00 -$25.00 per hour based on experience
