**The Job - Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist**

On Side Restoration is looking for an Accounts Receivables Cash Application Specialist (ARCAS) to join our team. A typical day in the life of the ARCAS involves initiating and coordinating accounts receivable collections, account reviews, and anything else involved with bringing cash in

**Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialists are responsible for**:

- Post daily receipts (cheques, EFTs, e-transfers, credit card payments) in a timely manner to ensure accurate accounts receivable balances
- Identify and resolve payment/invoice discrepancies
- Process e-transfers, credit card payments/refunds
- Provide daily reports to management
- Manage and coordinate requests and inquiries received in the Accounts Receivable inbox daily
- Provide back up support and coverage to the Accounts Receivable team as required
- Provide direction or support in other areas as requested/required

**What you bring**:

- Minimum Post-Secondary Education - Diploma in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with ERP system is a must
- Insurance background work experience is an asset
- Experience in the construction/restoration field will be an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Must have experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.
- Strong detail orientation and accuracy
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Ability to investigate to ensure client payments are applied correctly to invoices

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
