**Overview**

Reporting to the Foreman, the **Backhoe Operator **is responsible for providing quality services for all the projects assigned. Due to the expansion of our business, we are seeking highly motivated and energetic workers to join our growing company

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:

- Excellent stamina
- Impeccable work ethic
- Proven experience as Heavy equipment operator at least 5 years running Backhoe/Excavator
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), and working in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
- Ability to work out of town, if required
- Valid Class 5 License, Valid Class 1 or 3 with air endorsement an asset
- Own reliable vehicle to come to work and a functional phone
- Must live in Canada to apply

**Responsibilities**
As an NLU employee, you play a very important role, as you are responsible for the efficiency of each project and that it is carried out professionally and to the required quality standards. Throughout your career at No Limits Underground you will be responsible for:

- Operate heavy equipment including Backhoe and Excavator
- Always use caution around general hazards (pinch points, road crossings, blind spots, power lines, etc.)
- Use hydraulic attachments
- Care for and maintain company equipment to company standards
- Complete daily inspections and correct or report defects immediately
- Clean and lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Adhere to all NLU policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive public image of the company while complying with all NLU PPE requirements

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
