Big Rock Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Our team comprises of four skilled Veterinarians, seven dedicated support staff, and two clinic cats, with plans to expand further. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of dogs and cats through your work. Located just 20 minutes south of Calgary, in the charming town of Okotoks, we have established a strong presence in the community through our patient care standards and teamwork. Our efforts have earned us the Reader's Choice Award for first place six years in a row and counting

**About the Role**

Average daily tasks:

- Handling both dogs and cats in a safe manor
- Assisting Technologists and Veterinarians as needed
- Sterility practices with surgical equipment and surgery patients
- Running Laboratory samples
- Organizing and restocking supplies
- Assisting reception with answering phones and appointments
- And more
