The Student Wellness and Equitable Learning (SWEL) department leverages a collaborative, socio-ecological model for student development and care. The cross-functional team includes Student Connection and Community Care (Office of Student Community Standards, Student Support and Intervention Coordinators), Residence Life and Education, Testing Services, and Student Wellbeing (Accessible Learning and Counselling Services, Wellness Education and Programs, and the Health Centre). The SWEL team offer pan-College services across all Humber College/University of Guelph-Humber campuses.

**Position Title**: Testing Services Facilitator (4 positions)

**Status**: CPT (8 months)

**Salary**: (Min) $25.63 (Max) $29.71

**What you will do**:
The Test Centres maintain a commitment to inclusive, efficient, accurate, and timely services to all Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber (hereby referred to collectively as the College) and surrounding community prioritizing accommodated testing (postsecondary, admission, placement, short program) and supporting conflict and external testing where possible.

Reporting to the Manager, SWEL Administration, the Testing Services Facilitator is responsible for providing quality invigilation and customer service.

**Test Centre Coordination and Facilitation**
- Administering/invigilating exams in person and/or online as required - post secondary, accommodated, placement, admission, short program, and national/international external testing;
- Reviewing daily rosters and communicating with students and faculty related to outstanding information, requirements to reschedule, and supporting completion of associated administrative processes;
- Supporting faculty, students, and external parties in scheduling appointments to complete assessments through RegisterBlast - including requirements to modify dates and times to coincide with availability of accommodations, equipment, or space when necessary, uploading tests, etc.;
- Providing assistance to ‘check in’ and ‘check out’ processes in accordance with Test Centre protocols to ensure accurate data collection and timely processing of scheduled tests within the system - flagging appointments which require cancellation and processing accordingly (i.e., student did not arrive within allotted timeframe and the Centre will no longer be able to accommodate them for that appointment);
- Serving as a scribe/reader for students who require assistance during non-peak periods;
- Preparing tests in alternate formats as necessary (printing, enlarging, scanning, etc.);
- Training students on equipment and/or software to be used in the testing centre;
- Supporting the training and day-to-day direction of PT invigilators, notetakers, scribes, and interpreters as required for testing purposes;
- Ensure completed assessments are successfully returned to faculty or external institution accurately and in a timely fashion;
- Maintain the testing centres (individual rooms, labs, and equipment) - including inventory and troubleshooting specialized equipment and general computer use within the lab;
- Dealing with exam anomalies, complaints and questions in accordance with the college’s policies and procedures;
- Liaise with the Office of the Registrar, academic faculties, faculty, administrators, and Program Coordinators as required to support testing needs; and
- Support the maintenance of updated departmental administrative protocols, procedures, and completion of reports as required related to satisfaction, engagement, and outcomes related to the services.

**Other Related Test Centre Duties**
- Ensuring all equipment is operational at beginning and end of scheduled shift - notifying Manager of any needs or adjustments;
- Supporting Testing Centre outreach and promotion by developing / updating collateral material and process aides for students, faculty, and staff;
- Prepare Request for Invoices for external clients
