Warehouse Receiver

**Job Summary**

We are embarking on the next phase of our growth we are looking to expand and strengthen our warehouse team. As a dedicated receiver you will be a key contributor on our team as you support the execution of warehouse receiving activities & coordination with the warehouse office team.

**Description of Role**:
**Dedicated Receiver **is responsible for ensuring the timely & accurate execution of all receiving and restocking operations. The dedicated receiver will work alongside the warehouse supervisor utilizing the resources available to ensure that all inbound shipments are handled in a timely and accurate manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Receiving Shipment**

1. Offload shipment and stage it in the Receiving Inspection area

2. Received goods have a PPP issued purchase number (PO)

3. Received goods are from intended suppliers and are clearly labeled by approved suppliers

4. Received goods match those listed on the shipping documents

5. Received goods have no evidence of contamination or damage and have not been opened or tampered with.

6. All products have accurate Descriptions, Lot Codes and Expiry

7. Highlight any shipment discrepancies on shipping documentation.

9. Sign and date then hand paperwork to Inventory Clerk for data entry.

**10. **Keep warehouse organized and clean of debris.

**11. **Remove any empty pallets when required

**12. **Perform other duties and responsibilities when or if required

**Stock Put Away**

1. Once shipment is approved by Inventory Clerk, follow the stocking procedures.

2. Take note on what items are required to restock the picking bin locations using the FIFO METHOD and complete first.

3. All overstock pallets remaining complete the following.

b. Place the pallets with tag facing out into the overstock location in the corresponding Aisle dedicated to the brand.

**Stocking Requirements**

**1. **Receiver must perform daily checks on bin location stock levels.

**2. **When required stock must be replenished in a timely fashion ensuring that the FIFO method is followed. This should be completed when there is less traffic in the warehouse.

**Skill, Qualifications, and Experience**:

- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Must have a valid forklift license
- Detail oriented & accurate with counting
- Minimum of 1 year experience receiving product preferably in a warehouse or similar environment
- Experience organizing daily and weekly restocking/receiving tasks
- Energy & endurance to work in an extremely fast paced and changing environment.

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)
- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- Reach Truck License (preferred)
