**Part-Time Inclusive Education Director (2025/26) - Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA)**

Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA) is seeking a passionate and dedicated educational leader to oversee our **Inclusive Education Department** starting in the **2025/26 school year**. This key leadership role will support **collaborative, Christ-centered, and effective student support**, ensuring that all students experience growth and success.

The **Inclusive Education (IE) Director** will work closely with the **Principal and Vice Principal** to advance the mission and vision of LCA. Additionally, the IE Director will **support Learning Support Teachers (LSTs) and Educational Assistants (EAs)** to create a school culture where all students are equipped to thrive.

**Key ResponsibilitiesSpiritual Leadership**
- Serves as a **Christ-centered servant leader**, fostering a community of care and learning.
- Engages warmly with **students, families, and staff** to cultivate a supportive and close-knit school environment.
- Leads with B**iblical wisdom**, making ethical decisions that align with God’s Word.

**Relational Leadership**
- Encourages **collaboration between staff, students, and families** to ensure effective student support.
- Supports **LSTs and classroom teachers** in implementing **Universal Design for Learning (UDL)** and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Cultivates a **culture of educational excellence and lifelong learning** within the IE department.

**Instructional Leadership**
- Promotes and upholds the **vision, mission, and values of LCA** within the Inclusive Education Department.
- Provides **professional development** and training opportunities for teachers in inclusive education best practices.
- Collects and analyzes **student support data** to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make informed decisions.

**Organizational Leadership**
- Develops and maintains **clear systems and structures** for student support and intervention.
- Ensures **accurate and timely documentation** for 1701 student designations.
- Manages the **IE budget** in consultation with school administration.
- Strategically plans for **improved student learning outcomes** within the IE department.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Valid **British Columbia teaching certificate**:

- Strong **leadership, communication, and interpersonal** skills.
- Highly **organized** with the ability to work **collaboratively**.
- Knowledge of **current inclusive education practices and strategies**.
