**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Freight Management**: Facilitate and oversee the movement of freight by matching shippers’ needs with appropriate carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- **Client and Carrier Relations**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, understanding their specific needs and providing customized solutions.
- **Rate Negotiation**: Negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best possible solutions for our clients while ensuring profitability for the company.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, freight rates, and market conditions to offer strategic advice and solutions.
- **Documentation**: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to freight transactions, including contracts, shipping orders, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Problem Solving**: Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation process promptly, ensuring mínimal impact on delivery schedules and client satisfaction.
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitor and assess carrier performance and freight metrics to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role. Experience in freight brokerage is highly desirable.
- **Skills**: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation regulations. Familiarity with freight brokerage software and tools is advantageous.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- **Certifications**: Freight Broker License or similar certification is a plus.
