Design & Strategy Assistant

**Type**:Part-time Contractor Position, 10 - 15 hours/week (with potential to grow)
**Term**:3-month contract with potential for renewal
**Location**: Remote work but local to Saskatoon is preferred (open to Canadian citizens)
**Education**: School or savvily self-taught is welcome

**The Role**

This is a support role that blends design execution with project coordination. You’ll be working closely with Brand Strategist & Creative Director, Greer, to bring ideas to life, keep projects moving, and make sure every detail is aligned with the client’s bigger vision.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with design deliverables (brand collateral, social media graphics, presentation decks, client-facing documents, etc.)
- Support on website updates and basic design tasks (Squarespace/Shopify/Canva)
- Organize and prepare assets for client projects
- Assist with research for client strategy projects (competitors, audience insights, creative inspiration)
- Maintain project timelines and task lists in Notion
- Assist with internal design projects, marketing deliverables & social media scheduling
- Help draft and polish copy for design deliverables (design guides, brand booklets, websites, etc.)
- Provide overall admin and creative support to ensure projects stay on track and aligned

**Skills & Qualifications**
- 1-3 years experience in a design, marketing, or creative assistant role
- Proficienct in Canva & Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong eye for design, layout, and branding details
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms (Notion, Google Workspace, Squarespace, etc.)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing deadlines
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
