Fusion Security is seeking high-level security team members who already have their **Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC) **to work in and around Vancouver.

**MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in vehicles
- Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
- Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
- Monitor property access control
- Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce client policies
- Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments Concierge/ administrative duties as directed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid Security Workers License in the Province of BC
- MTSC - Marine Transportation Security Clearance (Government Security clearance)
- Class 5 BC Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- OFA 1 or higher is an asset
- AST (Advanced Security Training) license is an asset

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written, including report-writing)
- Fluent command of the English language
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making skills in sensitive situations and/or emergency incidents
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to resolve conflict through negotiation and diplomacy
- Ability to work in all types of weather and environmental conditions (rain, snow, sun, wind, odorous)
- Own a smart phone with a data plan on a major carrier (1Gig of data use reimbursed monthly)
