**Job Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with meal preparation to ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting individuals with disabilities by helping them engage in daily activities and promoting independence.
- Performing heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for those in your care.
- Assisting clients with dementia care by employing appropriate communication techniques and activities tailored to their needs.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care or related fields such as nursing homes or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in hospice care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A compassionate approach towards providing support to individuals facing various challenges, including dementia care.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
