Recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, Brandt provides top quality products to its customers worldwide. As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure all machines, tools, equipment and the facility are properly serviced and are in good working order
- Perform maintenance related work in the following areas:

- Machines, equipment and small tools for all departments
- Electrical work
- Plumbing and heating
- Janitorial
- Building maintenance
- Hydraulic warranty work
- Perform and record all work according to the preventative maintenance schedule
- Dismantle and assemble machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, power and hand tools and recognize and report worn and/or damaged parts
- Requisition maintenance parts as require
- Keep adequate inventory on items requires as replacement parts
- Supervise maintenance helpers as required
- Report abuse and/or negligence to any plant equipment for machines
- Report and/or correct any unsafe machines and equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow instructions from machining diagrams and equipment manuals
- Must be able to work safely from ladders and/or scaffolding
- Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
- Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
- Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language when appropriate, with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
