We are seeking a skilled and experienced
** Concrete Slab Saw Cutter** to join our team. As a Concrete Slab Saw Cutter, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by safely and efficiently cutting concrete slabs using specialized sawing equipment. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure precise and accurate cutting according to project specifications. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Concrete Cutting: Operate and maintain concrete slab cutting equipment, including walk-behind saws, hand-held saws, and other specialized tools. Cut through concrete slabs, walls, and other structures as required, ensuring precise and accurate cuts according to project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respiratory equipment as required. Conduct regular safety inspections of tools and equipment, report any issues or concerns, and follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- Site Preparation: Assist with site preparation tasks, including marking and measuring cutting lines, setting up barricades and warning signs, and clearing debris or obstacles from the work area. Ensure that the work area is properly secured and that all necessary precautions are taken to protect workers and nearby structures.
- Material Handling: Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials necessary for concrete cutting operations. Safely transport and handle heavy equipment and materials, following proper lifting techniques and using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on concrete cutting equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly to the supervisor, assist with repairs, or arrange for professional maintenance as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including the number of cuts made, material usage, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that occur. Complete required reports and forms in a timely manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the construction team to coordinate cutting operations and ensure efficient project execution. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns and maintain a positive working relationship.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Slab Saw Cutter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining concrete cutting equipment, including walk-behind saws, hand-held saws, and related tools.
- In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to concrete cutting operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and cutting diagrams.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for precise and accurate cutting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
