DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an _experienced _**Concrete Saw Cutter **for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate concrete cutting equipment (Husqvarna Floor Saw 7000) on construction related projects
- Perform concrete and asphalt cuts
- Meet concrete specifications outlined for project
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Read construction blueprints
- Maintain and use knowledge of concrete tools and equipment
- Comply with safe working procedures

**Expectations**:

- **Must have 2+ years of concrete/asphalt cutting experience**:

- **Must have a valid driver’s license with a CLEAN 3 Year driving abstract**:

- **Knowledge of and experience with Husqvarna Floor Saw 7000**:

- Must be willing to work long hours and overtime during busy seasons
- Capable of and willing to perform heavy manual labour
- Capable of and willing to work in hot, dusty or cold conditions
- Must be a team player, as well as possess the ability to work independently
- Must have knowledge of the city and surrounding areas

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- Concrete/Asphalt Cutting: 2 years (preferred)
