We have a rare opportunity for an experienced **Service Manager **to lead our team of RV enthusiasts. In this role, you'll oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our RV Service and Parts departments. Key responsibilities include team management, operations management including technical and administration support, quality control, and customer service.

**Who You Are**
You excel at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
**Essential Job Functions**
- Overall day-to-day management of the service and parts departments
- Direct supervision of counter staff, technicians and detailers
- Liaise with branch and sales management to determine priorities
- Hiring, training, and performance management of Service and Parts staff
- Ensure clear, prompt, positive communications between counter staff, customers and technicians
- Ensure information is entered into point-of-sale software accurately, completely and on time
- Resolve customer challenges while making every effort to minimize cost to the dealership
- Ensure all service and parts staff are following company procedures in the execution of their duties
- Accountable for parts inventory, ensuring proper stocking levels and accuracy
- Accountable for overall service and parts department's financial performance metrics and maximizing department results
**Essential Job Skills**
- 2+ years in a Service Manager role in the RV, automotive or marine sector preferred
- Exemplary customer service skills are mandatory
- Superior communication and people skills
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately within tight deadlines
- Must be proficient with computers and software
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong self-management
- Highly organized
- Adept at leading and facilitating change
**Health and Safety Considerations**
- Strict adherence to all health and safety policies is mandatory
- Ability to lift parts and accessories up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work in a shared office space
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Able to work comfortably with computer equipment, including monitor, keyboard and mouse
- Bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching
- Ability to deal with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers using calm, respectful, and courteous communication
