**We are actively recruiting for a Scheduling Assistant/Dispatcher (Security Industry).**
**We are currently hiring for the following shift**:Saturday and Sunday 3:00pm-11:00pm
**Required skills & Qualifications**:
- Completed post-secondary education (e.g., diploma, undergraduate degree) is preferred.
- Past scheduling experience is an asset.
- Exceptional computer skills with an emphasis on HRMS and Time Management systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Leadership and organizational skills are an asset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with last minute work additions and strict deadlines
- Great customer service skills
- Attention to Detail
- Must be able to handle stressful situations in a calm and collected manner
**Responsibilities include**:
- Respond to all missed check in alerts and arrange shift coverage in case of no show or sick calls of scheduled employees.
- Respond to ad hoc (sudden, short term) requests and dispatch guards in an expediated manner.
- Schedule all special and extra coverage shifts efficiently
- Ensure all employees are informed of their scheduled shift locations (site addresses).
- Call clients about security schedule, where required.
- Continually review all open shifts and verify suitability using Guards’ training plan.
- Consistently update and maintain all Guards/Sites training plan.
- Update and maintain E-Time as changes in employees’ scheduled shifts, training, suitability, placement, and rotation take place.
- Inform and continuously update clients about guard ETA to the site.
- Keep and maintain record of guards on Prohibited Site List.
- Respond to and/or escalate service inquiries from clients and guards to Operations.
- Complete daily shift reports per the needs of the scheduling department
- Monitor Virtual Guard system and respond accordingly to findings per procedure.
- Must contact Lead Scheduler to troubleshoot any scheduling issues.
- Cover the Administrative Assistant's desk when he/she is on vacation or absent from work.
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Part-time hours**: 16 per week
**Salary**:From $17.00 per hour
