We seek excellent students, faculty, and staff to join us in what has become known as the "Western Experience" - an opportunity to contribute to a better world through the development of new knowledge, new abilities, new connections, and new ways to make a difference. **About Us**: **Responsibilities**: The Business Foundations Department at Ivey Business School has limited, part-time appointment contracts available for Lecturer’s Assistants (LA) for the following case method courses: Business 9886, Management Essentials for Global Health Contracts will be active during the Fall/Winter 2025-26 academic year, with the last expected engagement in April 2026 **Business 9886 LA responsibilities include**: Proctoring and grading exams. **Qualifications**: Eligibility Requirement: - Must be registered in, or completed a program, within the department - Previous marking experience preferred Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - In-depth knowledge of the material covered in the course/program - Attention to detail and proofreading abilities with an excellent command of the English language - Communication skills to convey information and feedback in a clear and effective manner - Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards - Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work - Ability to provide feedback in a way that is positively received - Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public - Ability to prioritize and organize a fluctuating work load - Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve issues **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
